Prayers for bible readers' contacts

Two of the people who started reading the New Testament with me
were baptized into Christ this past Saturday.

They are now pulling another of those who started out with us back in.

The new converts are a young man (almost 18)
and a young lady (almost 16).

Two others who started reading this year, come to services on a regular basis,
but haven't made decisions.

Another has now read through to 1 John, and is considering taking the next step.

Please pray for the new converts, but also for those who started reading earlier.

So very cool. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ.

The new converts seem to be doing well.

They brought one of the other 'readers' with them to church services,
this past Sunday morning.

He is showing a renewed interest.
His girlfriend took precedence over his earlier interest.
(yep, they broke up) These young folks break up more than tater chips. :o

Not surprising that someone (can't remember who) referred to dating as divorce practice.
